Here’s a little story I just remembered with some insights to chew on if you’d like.

So, a few months ago, my son was having one of those ‘’I want candies!!’’ crisis..

Me, having some kinda issue giving candies to my son and feeling a bit like a desperate mother, I chose to create an illusional world of candies for him…Hmmm, what’s the point? might you ask,… you’re right, … mom’s ‘tool’!?

Mom : ‘’Close your eyes and imagine that you are walking in a big candy shop, full of them, all the varieties, red, blue, rainbow, … you can go and choose all the ones you like…’’

After a moment in this nonsense, my son opened his eyes, had a big smile on his face, looked at me, and understood that he had just been cheated. He got, yes, quite upset and angry.

Son : ‘’But that’s not REAL mom !!!’’

Back to square one.

Truth comes out of children’s mouths…indeed

The point here is not at alllll to have an opinion about sugar or candies, but to question ourselves : how often do we believe our fantasies?

How often do we get caught in our imagination, staying there and thinking it’s reality? Why in the first place do we choose to escape in our minds, creating lala land stories?

Ideas can be manifested, dreams can come true, but will they actually address the real source of dis-comfort in the body, the dis-ease? Or will they palliate?

Have we ever wondered what would happen if we actually stayed grounded, with the body, listening to what it’s really trying to communicate?

Some food for exploration. I felt like sharing.
